Finger Lakes Flute Circle Meeting - 20 September 2012

We had the most amazing experiences over the Summer at the INAFA (International Native American and World Flute Association) Convention in July, and at the 20th annual RNAF (Renaissance of the Native American Flute) in August!

In the works are plans for a charity concert to be put on in November, co-sponsored by MHTP (Music for Healing and Transition Program) and the Finger Lakes Flute Circle, to benefit the Therapeutic Music Program at the University of Rochester Medical Center Palliative Care Program.

The next meeting of the Finger Lakes Flute Circle is this Thursday, 20 September 2012, 6:30 pm, at the former Brookside School in the town of Brighton.

Complete beginners, and all levels of experience, are welcome! Beginner flutes will be available to try out! Bring your Native American flutes and hand percussion.

Directions are in the sidebar to the right.

A $5 donation is requested for room rental costs.

We will make great music together with shakers, rattles, flutes, and drums! We look forward to seeing you there!
