This must-see concert is a first-ever performance at Ganondagan by duo singer-songwriter
Shelley Morningsong (N. Cheyenne/ Dutch) and Fabian Fontenelle (Zuni/Omaha). They are on a limited tour schedule, so seeing them at Ganondagan is a rare opportunity!
With a voice compared to Buffy Sainte-Marie and Bonnie Raitt, Morningsong and partner Fontenelle bring traditionally influenced and contemporary
songs, Native American flute, storytelling, and dancing, including the
breathtaking Zuni Eagle Dance performed by Fontenelle, an original
member of the American Indian Dance Theatre.
Be in awe as Fontenelle depicts a profound imagery
of a "Spirit World" with the spoken word in his fluent Zuni.
The Seneca Art & Culture Center at Ganondagan is located at 7000 County Road 41 in Victor, NY.
