The SunWatch Flute and Art Festival is one of two Native American
flute festivals in reasonable driving distance from Rochester, NY, held in
Dayton, OH (the other being the Potomac Native American Flute Festival
in Washington, DC). Whereas PNAFF has a strong emphasis on workshops,
SunWatch is the more traditional music festival. Performances on Native
American flute are scheduled continuously through the day, with food
vendors, Native American flute vendors, and arts and crafts vendors on
the grounds of the archeological park. The event is held from Friday
afternoon through Sunday afternoon, 16-18 August 2013. Admission $8/day, $15 weekend pass.
